CBMint is a registered gold bullion dealer in the United States of America that distinguishes itself by its deep knowledge of the precious metal market. The company headquarter is located in Plano, Texas (5068 W. Plano Parkway, Ste. 300). CBMint's online store lists precious metal coins, bars and rounds out of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper and rhodium. Most available bullion products are sourced directly from the respective manufacturing mint. Shipping and insurance is free of charge within the continental United States (except shipment to PO Boxes). Customers can also purchase precious metals for their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's). In this area of business, CBMint works together with The Entrust Group as IRA custodian and eight approved Precious Metals Depositories.

The company was founded by a group of bullion investors with decades of experience in investing in precious metals. Since the leaders of the company are first and foremost precious metal investors themselves, you can be sure that CBMint will not try to sell lower quality bullion or overpriced numismatic products to you. Security and discretion are two additional strengths of this dealer. Only the bare minimum of customer information is collected with the customer's permission. This private data is safely stored and never shared with anyone outside the company.

Pricing

CBMint doesn't charge any commissions, service charges or other hidden fees. Purchase prices of the available gold bullion products fluctuate due to the constantly changing precious metal spot prices. The purchase price is locked in for 10 min from the start of the checkout process. Each product page in the CBMint's online store lists two different purchase prices depending on the customer's choice of payment. The higher price is valid for credit/debit card or PayPal purchases. Customers who pay via bank wire or check receive a 4% discount.

Ordering

CBMint has minimum and maximum order amounts depending on the choice of payment. When paying by credit/debit card, the minimum order is $100 and the maximum $5,000. Customers who pay by paper check can order up to $50,000. When placing an order for at least $1,000, you can also pay by bank wire (up to a total order amount of $150,000).

Larger orders can only be made by calling the CBMint hotline. A valid credit card number has to be provided upon checkout, even when paying by check or bank wire. The credit card number is needed to verify the customer's identity, the card will not be debited. Once an order has been submitted, it can not be modified. Customers will receive their order confirmation number by email.

Order cancellations will result in a $40 cancellation fee plus market loss fees. CBMint will charge the cancellation fee and any market loss fees to the credit/debit card provided during the checkout process. Any possible market gain remains the property of CBMint. A return of purchased items is treated the same way as a cancellation.

Payment

CBMint accepts payment by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), bank wire and paper check (Personal Check, Cashier's Check, Certified Check). Credit/debit card orders can only be shipped to a matching billing address. Bank wire transfers must be initiated within 1 business day. The customer should write the order number in the notes area on the bank wire form. CBMint will inform the customer of the bank name, ABA routing number and account number by email. Paper checks must be made out to “CBMint LLC” and mailed within 2-3 business days after the order has been confirmed. Customers should write the order number in the memo section of the check. The mailing address for sending in checks will be communicated to the customer by email.

Shipping

CBMint uses Insured US Mail, UPS or FedEx for its shipments and delivery to all residential addresses within the continental United States is free of charge. The shipping charges to PO Boxes, Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii vary between $9.95 (orders between $100 and $2,499) and $160 (when ordering for more than $15,000). The shipping charges to Canada vary between $20 (for orders below $400) and $595 (when ordering for more than $80,000).

Shipment of the ordered products is initiated once full payment has been received. However, there will be a 5 - 10 business day processing period when paying by check to ensure that the payment clears. CBMint informs its customers by email that their order has been shipped and provides a package tracking number. The shipping progress can also be tracked inside the “My Account” section of the CBMint website. All shipments are sent out fully insured and a signature may be required upon delivery.
